Our Team

Mary is currently serving as managing director of Gorman McNamee Limited. Mary qualified as an accountant and became an Associate of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland in 1989. In 1994, Mary became an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. She has over twenty-five years experience in guiding business entities through their financial planning, accounting and taxation needs.

Mary has special interests in taxation, tax planning and investment business.

Gary is a director of Gorman McNamee Limited. He obtained a Diploma of Business Studies and Accounts from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in 1991. Gary is a Senior Accountant working with us with over twenty years experience in all areas of general practice. He has a wealth of experience in business management and financial planning.

Gary is a qualified QFA who provides investment business advice.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) Degree from the University of Limerick. Kenneth qualified as an accountant and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2005. Kenneth is a senior accountant working with us with considerable experience in all areas of general practice and auditing. He has a particular interest in assisting new business ventures.

Kenneth can advise business in all stages of development from start-up to further expansion.

Anne joined our practice in May 1981. Her previous career experience was in book-keeping. She was trained by the late Paul McNamee and received further in-house training provided by our practice. Anne is a Senior Accountant working with us with over thirty years experience in practice.

Mary was the second employee hired for our practice. She commenced in October, 1979 as receptionist and secretary to the late Paul McNamee and has an unbroken service record with us. She continues to carry out her duties as receptionist and secretary along with some practice administration and taxation work.

Evelyn obtained a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) Degree from the Athlone Institute of Technology in 2003. She joined our practice as a trainee accountant in August, 2003. Evelyn qualified as an accountant and became an Associate of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland in 2008. Evelyn is a senior accountant working with us in general practice.

Edel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Hotel and Catering Management. Edel joined our practice in October, 2000. She qualified as an Accountant and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants in June, 2001. For the period March, 2002 to November, 2005 Edel emigrated to the Cayman Islands. While there, she worked in the financial services industry and gained experience in the management of off-shore insurance companies. Edel returned to work for us as a senior accountant in general practice.
